This game is minted on Counterparty, as RETROHAIR.SUPERSHINE. It was created using the PICO-8 platform. PICO-8 allows you to save the game cart as a PNG image. This is possible using a steganographic process that puts the game's data including code, graphic assets, and music, into the PNG file's data.
How to play
If you have a copy of the PICO-8 client, you can simply load the .p8.png file of RETROHAIR.SUPERSHINE and the game will load.
For those who don't have PICO-8, we've prepared a webpage that uses a javascript client to play the game. You can enjoy this for free! That said, donations or purchases of the official copy certainly help me continue to create things and provide additional value to the HAIRPEPE community.

If you were a member of The Salon (the world's oldest NFT members club), OR, own a RETROHAIR, this asset was airdropped to your address on September 25, 2022.
If you did't satisfy the requirements above, DON'T WORRY! There are a few extra copies of the game set up in a Counterparty dispenser.
